Description
The Pull Cord Switch is a safety protection device installed along conveyor systems. It is designed to immediately stop the conveyor in case of an emergency by pulling the steel wire rope connected to the switch.
With bi-directional pull operation, the switch ensures quick response from either side of the conveyor, preventing costly conveyor belt damage and reducing the risk of industrial accidents or personal injury.
Working Principle
In the event of an emergency on the conveyor:

Pulling the steel cord activates the internal micro-switch, which triggers a shutdown signal or alarm.

For the Automatic Model, once the cord is pulled, the switch will remain tripped until the cord is released, automatically resetting when tension is normalized.

For the Manual Model, the switch must be manually reset by pressing the small roller after the cord is pulled.
This ensures reliable emergency stopping of the conveyor belt, enhancing operational safety in industrial and mining environments.
